Cardamon & Almond Apple Crumble

Filling :

2lbs apples, cored & chopped into cubes

1 tbsp flour

1 tbsp almond flour

1/2 cup coconut sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cardamom

Topping : 

1 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup almond flour

3/4 cup coconut sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cardamom

1/4 cup chopped almonds 

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/8 tsp salt

Sprinkle flour, almond flour, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cardamom on the chopped apples. Spread onto a 1.5 quart baking dish. 

Place topping ingredients in a bowl and mix until clumps form (it should look like wet sand). 

Spread over the apple mixture and bake for 30-40 minutes at 350 F. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm with ice cream and enjoy!
